A visit to Central Tennessee just isn’t complete without a stop in at Skull’s Rainbow Room in Nashville. I didn’t have an entree or dessert so I can’t say if the food is good here or not but those around me seems happy with theirs. I also had the wedge salad and that was pretty typical and very tasty. They included mushrooms which was nice but they slightly overpowered the over all flavor of the escargot. This one was pretty good (can’t go wrong with butter and garlic) and a little different. I also went there to try the escargot ( I know this is weird cause I’m in TN) because I like to try it everywhere I see it on the menu. I tried some local TN whiskey and was happy with the selection. I was told they have reasonably priced whisky and that was true. The server in that area was very friendly and attentive. I sat in the bar because I was traveling alone. I stayed was longer than I thought I would because the experience was so nice. Then it turned into a burlesque show at 10pm. The music was very jazzy at the beginning and an amazing 70 year old singer belted out some awesome songs. It has a very old school feeling to it and has been around a long time. They said it had good drinks, food and entertainment and they were right. This place was recommended to me by a local. … moreĪ really nice experience all around. Hope this gets changed so I can come back and enjoy some wonderful Jazz. Just the person who was in charge of the seats messed up the evening. Food was great, drinks were great, music was fabulous, and the servers themselves were great. I hope the customer service improves so me and my family can come back again. ![]() The table stayed empty even though we were told that “all tables were filled up” and I ended up standing there listening to the band instead of being in the back with the loud noises and stressful atmosphere. I felt like I was in the way, but there was no other choice. The back was loud, so I ended up walking up to the front to listen to the band. When we walked in I had noticed a table for three in the front of the band, and was hoping we could easily get moved. Speakers seemed to not be on, so the whole point of being there was out of reach. fast forward to that evening, we walk in and get taken to the back of the restaurant by a loud kitchen and loud groups. We reserved seats, told they were going to be up by the band and we went on our day.
